Pitch for SEO Butler and Moonbound

Stop selling links to everyone.
Sell them to the buyer who pays.

Audience-first SEO in five minutes. Same tools you already own. Different order. The order is the whole trick.

How SEO has been organised for 20 years

Keyword tool first. Hope the right people show up.

Keyword toolTopic clustersContentTraffic?? leads

Paid media never worked like this. Paid buys an audience before it writes a word. SEO buys a topic and hopes.

AudienceKeyword toolGap analysisContent + PRLeads that close
One topic, three buyers

"Wealth management" is not an audience.

First-generation saver

Emergency fund, index funds, "is 3% enough". Huge volume. Tiny value.

Owner selling a company

Exit tax, holding structures, what to do with 40M. Different questions entirely.

Multi-generational family

Trusts, governance, succession. Twelve times fewer searches. Worth far more per lead.

Content written for all three serves none of them. Their questions do not overlap. Their value to you does not overlap.

The case behind the idea (financial services, 6 months)

Twelve times less volume. Most of the money.

0

of last year's leads in the top segment, after six months

0

of last year's pace in total lead volume. Traffic went down. On purpose.

1.46 → 2.13 bn

estimated pipeline, full last year vs first half of this one

Move 1 + 2, live

Score the segments. Sell to the overlap.

Three sliders per segment: search demand, how hard it is to rank, what a closed deal is worth. Drag them. The ranking is the strategy. Values below are my guess for a Nordic link seller, you know the real ones.

Move 3: the same map runs your PR

Not "high DA sites". Where does this buyer read?

igaming operator, entering DK/SE/NO/FI

  • iGaming Business, SBC, SiGMA agendas
  • Nordic affiliate forums and Discords
  • The regulator newsletters they must read anyway

crypto / fintech, compliance-minded

  • The Block, CoinDesk policy desk, Nordic fintech press
  • Danish and Swedish startup media
  • The AI answer engines they actually ask (measure it)

agency buying white-label links

  • Danish and Swedish SEO Slack/LinkedIn groups
  • Podcasts the agency owners run for each other
  • Your own case pages, which they will search for by name

You sell placements. This list is also your product's credibility story: "we know where your buyer reads, that is where we put you."

Where the two sites stand today (read-only look, 2026-08-29)

Both sites sell to "anyone who wants links".

seo-butler.com

"Link Building Agency - Buy Quality Backlinks". 33 pages, one per country or niche. Blog: 7 Ahrefs how-tos, last new post 2024.

  • schema, canonical, LiteSpeed cache, Cloudflare
  • robots.txt lists sitemaps from three SEO plugins, two sets are dead
  • 434 KB homepage HTML
  • no segment page speaks to one buyer

moonbound.dk

"Your partner in digital success". Three pages: about, services, contact.

  • no meta description, no structured data
  • no proof: no cases, no publisher count, no sample placements
  • WordPress 6.7 and Elementor 3.27, a year behind
  • H1 does not say SEO or links
The plan, one quarter

Same tools. New order. Four weeks each.

Weeks 1-2: pick the buyer

Rank your existing customers by order value and repeat rate. One or two segments win. Lock them.

Weeks 3-4: size and gap

Demand, difficulty, value per segment (the slider page). Gap analysis against that segment's questions, not a topic list.

Weeks 5-8: rewrite the front door

Homepage H1 and two landing pages per segment. "Nordic link building for igaming operators" beats "Link Building Agency". Fix the afternoon-sized tech list while you are in there.

Weeks 9-12: PR from the map

Pitch the ten places the buyer reads. Scoreboard is leads from the chosen segment, not sessions.

The whole idea in one line

Fewer, better people.

Traffic stops being the scoreboard. Audience quality is. Define the buyer, run everything you already do through that lens, and let closed deals tell you if it works.
